2 Federal Judges Strike Down Muslim Ban 2.0
Donald Trump has been fighting to keep his campaign promise of "a total and complete shutdown of all Muslims entering the US...", but doesn't expect that we would link the promise to its attempted fulfillment. The first attempt to keep his first campaign promise was struck down by a judge calling it incendiary and bigoted, all the while the GOP attempted to separate his campaign promises from Trump's actions by claiming that it's not a Muslim ban. We didn't buy it. It has now been revised, and reintroduced as 'another' executive order, slightly modified, and going by the exact same name. The modified version, or, "Muslim Ban 2.0" if you will, was likewise struck down by 2 federal judges (read judges order here) on the grounds that it was in keeping with the campaign promises made by Trump to that end. Trump has not yet figured out that as President, his words carry weight, even if they're bigly sad.
