Jeff Sessions Confirmation as Attorney General
Amid growing tensions among the population, Democrats in the Senate, and the ACLU, Sessions faced his confirmation hearing tumultuously as Trump's nominee as the AG today.
Sen. Feinstein was the first to voice concerns over Sessions, bringing up his early and ongoing dedication to the Trump agenda. She questioned also whether Sessions would be able capable of upholding the laws independent of the White House. "I have no confidence that Sen. Sessions will do that," Feinstein said. "Instead, he has been the fiercest, the most dedicated, the most loyal [supporter] of the Trump agenda."

"If the President of the United States asks for something that is improper, does the Attorney Gen. have an obligation to say no to the President?"
The ACLU Smells Blood With Sessions Confirmation
The ACLU has made several statements regarding Sessions; statements which were largely ignored, including...
"The attorney general is charged with protecting the rights of ALL Americans.
